We have met Lucille in the two previous books. She is an Enforcer on the Vampire Council and in the last book she has taken a criminial back to the council. But she wants to know what Marek is hiding. She is a bit shocked to find Julius knows who he is.
In the meantime she is sent out on another mission and whether she was to or not she will be working with another. This other hunter has wormed his way into her soul.
They both are out on the same mission to save mankind.
Will Lucille figure out why this other hunter seems so familiar? Valentino is just way pushing his way right into her every thought, every feeling. But can he accept Lucille for what she is? And can she accept him for what he is?
